CPSMAME

CPSMAME is an emulator specialized in Capcom CP System (CPS1) and CP System II (CPS2) arcade systems, derived from MacMAME. It allows playing iconic arcade cabinets from these platforms, such as Street Fighter II or Virtua Fighter, on macOS.

Developed by Flea, it has not received any recent updates and its official website is no longer accessible. Its operation relies on an old version of MAME, adapted for Intel architectures. Although compatible with recent versions of macOS, its use remains limited by the lack of support for Apple Silicon and system updates. A useful tool for collectors, but to be considered as a static project.
