SixtyForce is a dedicated emulator for the Nintendo 64, designed to run on macOS. It dynamically translates game code for native execution on Mac, relying on a detailed software reimplementation of the console’s hardware components. The emulator includes enhanced graphics and audio plugins, optimized for better compatibility and performance.

Initially developed in 2000, the project underwent a major overhaul, including a conversion to Swift and bug fixes. It supports macOS 10.9 and later versions, including Apple Silicon-based machines via Rosetta (though its operation on these remains limited pending native adaptation). Advanced features, such as state saves, are paid. Development remains active, with regular updates to improve automation and stability.
