REminiscence
REminiscence is a dedicated interpreter for the 1992 game Flashback by Delphine Software, designed as a rewrite of the original engine to replace the native executable. It supports raw data from Amiga, MS-DOS, or Macintosh versions, as well as specific audio files (Amiga ProTracker music and SegaCD voice tracks). The tool supports multiple languages, including French, and allows playing cinematic sequences via a dedicated player.
For macOS, functional builds are available, though their compatibility with recent architectures (Apple Silicon) is not explicitly confirmed. The emulator requires original game files and falls under the category of interpreters, without full hardware emulation. Technical resources (protection codes, technical notes) accompany the project on its official repository.
