MasterGear

MasterGear is an emulator dedicated to the Master System (Sega), designed to run under Mac OS Classic. Developed by John Stiles, it aims to accurately reproduce the games of this 8-bit console on older macOS systems compatible with this obsolete environment.

No recent version or support for modern macOS (including Apple Silicon) is documented. Although the emulator is no longer maintained, it remains a reference for users with systems compatible with Mac OS Classic, provided they have appropriate hardware resources. Performance and stability will depend on the configuration used.
